1 Corinthians 16:14

1COR1614This week we are memorizing the short verse in 1 Corinthians 16:14 “Let all your things be done in love”. Every morning we are talking about areas of a school day in which doing it in love might be in oblivion: recess, kiosk time, classroom behavior, when someone finds money or something lost, when someone wants to borrow something ours, studying, etc. And for us, the teachers and administrative people in the office, these few words could easily slip away from our minds in the frenzy madness of work.

Clark’s simple commentary of this verse is: Let love to God, to man, and to one another, be the motive of all your conduct.

The challenge to make a difference in Camiri through our school is for students and teachers of all ages today. I end with the prayer “Lord, we cannot do it in our own strength; we need YOU!”
