I loved my trip to Orizaba

The city of Orizaba is one of the main cities in the State of Veracruz which has a diverse and rapidily changing topography; in only one hour and half and taking the Veracruz-Mexico highway, we went from the tropical coastal plains and beaches from the port of Veracruz to the highlands of the Eastern Sierra Madre Mountains. Pico de Orizaba, (picture above) with an elevation of 18,793 feet above sea level, is the highest mountain in all of Mexico. On a clear day, you can see the snowy peak from the hot city of Veracruz.

I have many memories of visiting relatives in my childhood days. After more than 30 years, I went again this past weekend and I loved it.
